Even though my daughter will be 2 in a few weeks, I am still not back to my pre-baby body, and honestly I may never be.  I have hated shopping for swimsuits that were flattering.  You can only imagine how thrilled I was to find a swimsuit that was modest without being frumpy, sleek with out being racy, and that  gave ME the option of how I wanted to wear it. We started to teach our daughter to sign long before she could talk.  I never learned sign language as a child but I was told that teaching a baby sign language could greatly reduce meltdowns, frustration, and much more.  This proved to be so true.  We got lucky and have an amazing daycare provider that also taught our daughter sign language.  She was signing for “milk”, “more”, and “please” long before she could say those words. What have you made that is delicious this week?  This past week was a little hectic so much of what we ate came from the freezer.  I try to cook large batches of foods that freeze easily and then freeze them in single serving containers so that I have easy on-hand meals.

Since I didn’t cook much this past week I looked in my blog archives for a recipe to share.  This was actually my first ever blog post!  And coincidentally, these Zucchini Muffins also do freeze quite well

My favorite post from last week is Aunt B on a Budget’s Orange and Cranberry Scones!  I love the orange cranberry scones from Starbucks but they are quite expensive.  I had no idea making scones was so easy and so inexpensive.  I will be making these soon for sure!!

All strollers are NOT created equal!  I have used many strollers….umbrella strollers, travel systems, double strollers… and I know an awesome stroller when I see one.  I absolutely love our Zooper Waltz.

Zooper is a designer and manufacturer of baby products that are “More than you think”! Their products are made to pass and exceed both US and European safety standards. I was given the chance to review the Waltz in Flax Brown which is fully loaded with all the features you want and ask for in a stroller. When you buy a Waltz from Zooper you will get a stroller that is just 18 pounds with a carry handle on the side. Opening and closing the stroller is super easy and takes literally 2 seconds flat by squeezing the button on the handle and grabbing the lever on the side of the stroller. I love that when the stroller is closed it stands upright on its own legs so there’s no need to lean it against something.

We took our Zooper Waltz to the Denver zoo the other day.  The stroller was perfect for this trip.  Even though it has so many amazing features and great storage, it is compact enough to get our daughter right up to the edge of the exhibits.  She loved checking out the hippo at the beginning of the trip!

I never knew how important it was to have a stroller that was easy to handle one-handed until I had a toddler.  She loved to help push the stroller and walk on her own for part of the trip.

The Zooper is so light weight and handles so smoothly that steering it with one hand is simple!

Another great feature of the Zooper Waltz is the large snack tray with a deep cup holder.  A few of the other strollers we have had either just didn’t have a snack tray or if they did their cup holders were tiny.  We had a heck of a time trying to find seating for lunch at the zoo.  The large snack tray came in handy so that Monkey Girl could eat lunch right in her stroller!

My daughter loves the All Purpose Canopy.  The new and improved full-cover sunshade combines the UV net, rain cover, and sunshade into one single unit.  Now, the all-purpose canopy serves all functions to shield your baby from rain, sunlight, and UV ray, saving you the trouble of bringing and setting up attachments.
