Delicious Dish Tuesday | Fresh Summer Cocktails

Thanks for stopping in and checking out Delicious Dish Tuesday ~ a weekly recipe hop where Alesha, Mary, and I share with you some of our favorite recipes as well as feature some great recipes that were linked up the prior week.

Last week I was delighted to see so many people {and a lot of new faces} link up their great recipes with our hop.   There were three great recipes, all shared by different bloggers, for fun summer cocktails.  After reading them all I knew I couldn’t just pick one to feature and that I had to do a summer cocktail feature post!

Pam from Grey is the New Black shared her recipe for a refreshing Blackberry Cocktail.  While I have yet to make this drink, I think the fresh berries and mint combined with the crisp cucumbers is what really makes this the perfect summer drink.

I was really excited that Michelle, from Ms. enPlace joined us again this week.  I truly enjoy all of her stories from New Orleans.  I spent a week there during law school with my father and didn’t even scrath the surface of this culinary gem.  This past week Michelle shared with us her drink recipe for Canaille Bleu (Sneaky Blue) Cocktail.

And lastly, our very own Mary shared her recipe for a crisp and refreshing Summertime Sangria filled with fresh fruit juice.  I love that she included both an adult and kid version of this recipe!

I really do feel like fresh fruit juice makes all the difference between a so-so and a spectacular cocktail.  A while back I shared my recipe for an amazing Tres Hombres Margarita, the secret being fresh juice!
