Delicious Dish Tuesday | Fun Takes on Oatmeal

Thanks for joining us for another week of Delicious Dish Tuesday.  Alesha, Mary, and I love providing a great forum for you to link up your delicious recipes, share ours, and find great recipes from other bloggers!

I am not a fan of oatmeal.  I have texture issues and mushy food, no matter how yummy, just doesn’t work for me.  However, I know how important breakfast is and I really am trying to do better with eating a healthful breakfast.  When I was nursing I came up with these great Breakfast Cucakes. They are full of nutrition, but not mushy!

Last week Kacie shared her Coconut Banana “Oatmeal” recipe with DDT.  I think the crunch from the coconut would get me past my reservations.  I also like that it is gluten and dairy free.  Both my parents are on restrictive diets so I can’t wait to share this new breakfast option with them!

  2. Thanks for hosting! I shared my “How to Make Sauerkraut” post, an easy step-by-step tutorial with lots of photos. :)

  3. I can’t stand mushy oatmeal either! I usually end up making granola and eating it as breakfast cereal. I will have to try your breakfast cupcakes recipe and see how the kids like it.
