This air purifier could not have come at a better time for us. The weekend that it arrived my husband decided to take the glass shower doors off the shower in our closet. How does that relate to air quality you ask? Well, once the doors were removed disgusting black mold was revealed beneath them! Luckly my mother in law was here to help (being pregnant I don’t think I should be anywhere near that!). But, during the cleaning process I knew that particles would be released into the air AND she used some pretty heavy duty cleaners to make sure the bathroom was sanitized.
The Luma Comfort was super easy to put together. All I had to do was follow these simple instructions as to how to put the filters in and I was done!
I set the Luma Comfort AP400W Air Purifier up just outside the bathroom door in our bedroom and ran it full blast while she was cleaning as well as the rest of the day. By the time we went to bed there was no lingering smell of any of the chemicals that were used!
We now have the air purifier set up in our basement laundry room. It always had a “musty” smell which I knew meant trouble. In addition, that is where our cat’s litter box is… and anyone with a cat knows how that can smell! I use the programmable timer to have it run for a few hours every day and the smell of the room has dramatically increased!
Once baby boy arrives I will probably set it up in his room. The fan in this air purifier is so quiet I will have no worries about the sound waking him up.
