Riding in Style with the Contours Options LT Tandem Stroller #GiftGuide

Monkey Girl is now 2 ½ and able to walk herself most everywhere we go.  However, there are still times when we are doing a lot of walking or where it is just easier to have her in a stroller.  With baby boy coming in February we will need a double stroller to accommodate both of them.  I have tried side-by-side double strollers but they can be quite cumbersome and hard to maneuver.  I was so excited when I was given the chance to try out the Contours Options LT Tandem Stroller.

The Contours Options LT Tandem Stroller is a lightweight tandem stroller with a ton of options (bet you couldn’t guess that from the name!).  It is lighter than most tandems weighing only 33 1/2 lbs with the seats ON!  We all know how important it is not to have to lug around a big and HEAVY stroller.

This stroller has six different seating options: children can both face you, face each other, face forward, sit back to back, or you can use the stroller with just the front seat (giving you extra storage space in the back), or use with some of the most popular infant car seats.

Monkey Girl thought it was soooo cool that she would be able to face her brother in the stroller.  We were both impressed that you could have both seats reclined while facing each other.

She also thought it was really cool that she could see her brother (kind of) when they were both facing me).

The seats are super simple to re-position, just push the buttons on both sides of the stroller and the seat pulls straight up and out… flip it around and set it back down.  I was very impressed by how well the stroller maneuvers.  It is larger than a regular stroller, and the only other experience I have had was with a side-by-side double stroller, so I assumed it would be hard to move around, but it’s not at all!

My husband was happy to see just how compact it folds up.  If both seats are facing forward it folds flat easily with both seats on!  When I folded it up, one seat had been facing backwards so I just took it off and folded it in with the stroller and it still worked great.
