Size: Spaghetti squash (8 inches, 1 lb)
Symptoms: Still hungry all the time ~ what a great excuse to eat! Sadly, I have also acquired the symptom of excess and random gas {yikes} so I have to watch what I eat.
Weight Gain: .5 lbs (+1 from last week).
Cravings: Fried food, salad, and sugar (no wonder I have gas, lol).
Food Aversions: Nothing new.
Belly Button – In or Out? I have crossed the point of no return, it is now out.
Gender: In case you missed the big reveal last week ~ it’s a boy! This will be our last (2 is our perfect number) and my husband said he almost cried in the ultrasound room!
Movement: He is moving more and more, but it is on his own schedule.
Medical Happenings: We had our 20 week ultrasound last week. He kept his elbow in my side during most of the 20 week ultrasound. However, he would not roll over so that the tech could get a good view of his spine. Normally she said what she was seeing was just great, but since my husband has spina bifida she really wanted to get the perfect image. I went back the next day, juiced up with orange juice before, and he still moved, but not the way we wanted (I hope this isn’t a sign of his stubborn personality). I go back on Friday and will be trying spicy food before to see if that helps.
Sleep: Still having a hard time getting comfortable. I am so over this part of it!
Thoughts from Monkey Girl: She is very excited to be having a little brother!!! It took her a while to grasp the concept that brothers were boys but now she gets it (as much as a 2 year old can). There is a little 2 month old boy at her daycare and her best daycare friend just had a baby brother on Monday so she is excited to join the big sister of little brother’s club.

I was not one of the lucky pregnant women that craved fruit and ice water either! Eat a brownie with fried ice cream because you deserve it! lol Congrats on the boy
Not too much spicy food. You will regret it after a couple of hours. Glad your daughter is excited.
