Menu Plan – Week of October 22, 2012

I am working on planning an entire MONTH of dinners for the month of November.  I was so caught up in doing that that I forgot to plan our dinners for this week.  Hopefully the monthly menu plan will work out so that I don’t get in this situation.  Whenever we don’t have dinner planned and we are busy, we end up eating out which is expensive and unhealthy!  Here is what I have come up with on a whim for the rest of this week.

Monday: Take out

Tuesday: Minestrone Soup with Blue Cheese-Parmesan Meatballs

Wednesday: Lager Turkey Burgers

Thursday: Leftovers

Friday: Spaghetti and Meatballs in the Crock Pot

Saturday: Mexican Pot-luck (it is a lunch bday party but we will fill up and likely not eat much dinner)

Sunday: Chili (not sure what kind yet, but in football season, Sunday = chili)

What are you eating this week?  You can find other great menu plans at Organizing Junkie.

    Hi Amanda!
Your menu sounds good for the week. I”m visiting from Menu Plan Monday. I am impressed you are doing the whole of November :) I am also trying to do a full month’s plan, mainly to cut back on any extra trips to the supermarket. I am also trying to do a basic week plan of breakfast lunch and dinner with a whole grocery list attached. Will you be posting your November menu in its entirety? Have a lovely week :)

Once I get the dinner’s for November decided I will post them. I am not going to necessarily say what we will have each day (that is just setting myself up for failure) but I will post the 28-ish meals and then each week I will pick from them and post my weekly menu plan. Good luck with planning breakfast and lunch! I too want to cut back on unnecessary trips to the grocery store :)

  2. I really need to start planning instead of eating out so much.
