With the holidays coming my husband and I have started our Christmas lists. Now that we have kids and a house, it is hard to think up stuff that we want rather than just things we need. He wants tools and there are a lot of things I want for the kitchen. We have decided those are both wantsandneeds.
We still want to open something on Christmas day that is truly a want so I have started browsing online stores to find the perfect gifts. I did a search for top 10 holiday gifts and on every single list I clicked on it included watches. I haven’t worn a watch in years but I would love to have one that was a little funky but still elegant and work appropriate.
When I started searching for watches I was overwhelmed with the number of watches out there. And maybe it is just because it has been like 10 years since I bought a watch, but man were some of them expensive! I ended up finding this great online shop for watches and found watches I think myself and my husband would love.
ShopNBC has a huge selection and I really like this one for me. The color of the band adds that little bit of funk that I like but but the face is still very classic.
It was great because I was able to narrow my search by brand, band type, case size, price and more.
When searching for a watch for my husband I knew he would want a rubber band so that he could wear it to work (he works on a golf course) and not worry about ruining it. After making that selection I just started browsing. Right away this one jumped out at me. I really think he will like it!
If you have an anniversary coming up, these could be great gifts for that as well. Did you know that the “modern” gift for first anniversary is clocks and fifteenth anniversary is watches?
What do you look for in a watch? Have you tried shopping for them online?

I like watches that the time is readable…I hate watches that have no numbers what so ever with small faces is even worse…telling time is a guess – well it may be 1 or 2….who knows
