I am not quite to the nesting stage, but I know I will be there soon and I want to at least have a plan for baby boy’s room so that when I feel like cleaning and organizing I will already have everything I need on hand.
We have the crib already since Monkey Girl is now in her big girl bed. The cool thing about that is it is actually the same crib I slept in as a baby! We will have to get bedding depending on what theme we go with for the room. My husband really wants to do a vintage car theme. I found this picture on Pinterest and LOVE the idea but I can’t find the actual wall art so we will have to see what we come up with.

We only had one set of kids room furniture so Monkey Girl is currently using the dresser and end table that match the crib which is a dark wood. Since her bed is white I am thinking to actually get her a new chest of drawers and move the matching ones back in with the baby. I really like the look of this chest of drawers from Baby & Co.
Or this wardrobe that would really grow with her as she got older.
I really think any other decisions on baby boy’s room will have to wait until we firmly decide on a theme and design plan. What do you think of the vintage car idea?

I really LOVE that sign too. It is actually something I found on Pinterest and I am searching SO HARD to find something like it. Good thing we have until February!

I love the vintage car theme sounds like a cute idea. I bet you could find additional ideas by looking on line. I am not the most creative person so I have to use the Internet often if I am trying to do something crafty.
