We are due in February with baby #2 and I am excited to get into maternity clothes. Unfortunately, a lot of the clothes I had when I was pregnant with Monkey Girl are the wrong size in the wrong season for this pregnancy. Since shopping for maternity clothes began, I also realized there was no such thing as “cheap maternity clothes“….until I found Sweet Pea Maternity. ALL the clothes are completely affordable and fashionable. I am so relieved!
Sweet Pea Maternity has super cute and trendy maternity clothes at great prices. You can find cute shirts under $20! Ever since I discovered them, I’ve been to their website quite a few times and they’re always getting new clothes.
I picked the Burgundy Draped Neckline Maternity Sweater from their fall line. I really like this top. It is the perfect early fall sweater. It definitely has that fall look which I love but it is light weight with short sleeves so I can still wear it in the 70-80 degree weather we have been having.
It is great with jeans or khaki pants for a day of shopping and playing in the park. It can also be dressed up over a pair of black leggings with heels or boots for work or a night out on the town. The only down side is that there is no lining so the design in the sweater makes it completely see through. However I just put a black tank under it and it looked great.
