We have been using Rockin’ Green as our cloth diaper detergent for a couple years now, and it has been the official cloth diaper detergent of Coping with Frugality for about 6 months now.
Rockin’ Green is an award-winning manufacturer of eco-friendly cleaning products designed to make cleaning easier and greener. Most well-known for their clean-rinsing laundry detergent formulated for use on all fabrics and especially useful on cloth diapers, Rockin’ Green produces detergents for hard, soft and normal water conditions (known as Hard, Soft and Classic Rock varieties).
I love how well it cleans and deodorizes our cloth diapers. I have also been using it for quite some time now on my clothing and Monkey Girl’s clothing. The revelation came recently for my husband when he decided to use it on his work clothes because we were out of “regular” detergent. He was stunned that it was able to remove the sweat stains from the armpits that had been there for years.
He proceeded to wash all of his disgustingly dirty ball caps with Rockin’ Green and even I was shocked by the results (I wish we would have taken before and after pictures)! Hats that he was getting ready to throw away because they were so gross are now almost clean as new.
My husband is a Rockin’ Green convert and is working to convert his co-workers as well. He has given them samples of the detergent to use and bets that they will soon be using nothing but Rockin’ Green.
Have you used Rockin’ Green for laundry other than cloth diapers? What was your experience?
