Delicious Dish Tuesday | Special Treats

Thanks for stopping by Delicious Dish Tuesday, a weekly link up featuring all things Delicious!  Thank you to everyone who shared their recipes last week.  We love adding new recipes to our recipes boxes and being introduced to new great blogs!

Last week I decided to go out on a limb last week and make homemade scones.  Not only were they absolutely scrumptious but they were super easy to make!  I love it when special treats aren’t too complicated to enjoy.

Camille from Growing Up Gabel tried to make a special treat and learned that it too was easier than she thought.  She shared her recipe for homemade cream puffs with Delicious Dish Tuesday last week and now I am counting the days until I can make them!

Oooooo a snickerdoodle sounds SO good! I’ve never made scones, but have always wanted to. It’d probably be the only thing I ate, though. =) And those cream puffs sounded delicious last week!

I had never made them either but they are super easy. I used 1/2 whole grain flour, greek yogurt and less sugar than most recipes so I think even if it is all you ate you would be ok ;)

Mmmm the scones look so so good! I wish I had a recipe to link up, but sadly the only thing cookin’ around here has been sandwiches haha.

  4. Amazing blog….I love the idea of finding new recipes. I cook a lot with my crockpot bc of just being so busy with everything….but I do occasionally try to make other homemade goodies. Tomorrow I am going to try my hand at pumpkin bread to help my son learn fractions

  5. I’ve never heard of snickerdoodle scones I bet they are delicious.
