Delicious Dish Tuesday – Bountiful Produce

Welcome back to another edition of Delicious Dish Tuesday ~ a weekly recipe hop all about sharing good food.  The weather is finally cooling off here (well out of the 90’s at least) and I can finally feel my favorite season beginning to take hold.  I love fall.  Crisp air, sweaters, football… it really is the perfect time of year!

Usually the cooler weather means that local fresh produce begins to taper off.  However, it is not that cool yet here and our garden is still abound with great fruits and vegetables.  This week I shared my recipe for Oven Roasted Cherry Tomatoes (yes, another tomato recipe, and yes, there are more to come!).

My favorite recipe from last week comes from Good Girl Gone Green with her Ruby Red Apple Juice.  Juicing is a great way to use different produce from your garden or CSA.  She has inspired me to get my juicer back out and start juicing again.  I loved it when I was doing it on a regular basis and I really felt great.  The only downside for me was cleaning out the hopper after I made the juice.
