I apologize for missing out on Delicious Dish Tuesday last week. We just bought our first house and were in the process of moving so blogging got put on the back corner. I was excited today to check out all the great recipes that were linked up.
It is always hard to pick a favorite recipe. This week I am featuring the Corn Chaat shared by Square Meals. Even in this horrible drought we are getting great corn right now here in Colorado and I can’t wait to try this recipe. I even have fresh green chiles and tomatoes from the garden I can use! Chaat Masala isn’t a spice mix I have ever cooked with, and I will likely have to go to a specialty store here to find it, but I will be on the hunt.
I started searching my archives for an “exotic” recipe that I have shared and came across my Root Vegetable and Curry Quinoa soup. We have been having some great cool weather lately and I think this soup would make for a perfect healthy and light dinner right now!
What exotic meals do you make? Please link up your exotic and not so exotic meals below!

I LOVE exotic food. I don’t have a blog but my favorites are pho (vietnamese beef soup) curry, tempura and chinese dumplings (jiao zi) from scratch. If you like Japanese food or just want to try it, this youtube channel is my favorite.. https://www.youtube.com/user/cookingwithdog?feature=results_main it’s actually really informative!! and cute.:)
I am so nervous to try exotic foods, especially knowing that dh and the kids won’t touch it. This looks yummy though

I am a picky eater, but I want to expand my tastes! This would definitely be something different for me to try!
