We were sent the 3-piece pink mermaid set and it is so adorable! At two she isn’t great about keeping the hat on all the time so we still have to make sure to lather up her face and ears with sunscreen as well as her lower arms and legs. However, that is more than half of the skin that we would have to cover with sunscreen if she was in a standard swim suit.
Despite the full coverage, the swimsuit is comfortable and cool. All of the child suits have elastane threading throughout which allows for more stretch and flat-lock stitching which means no raised seams to irritate skin. The suits are also made of chlorine-resistant fabric which means less fading!
