Welcome to the Honor the Earth Giveaway Hop, hosted by Happy Mothering and DeDa Studios.
I have a great giveaway package that helps you keep your table green. How can I do that you may ask? Well to start off with, you can use organic produce. Beauty Beyond Belief Seeds provides heirloom vegetable and wildflower seeds and has many organic seed options. When you wash your vegetables and clean your oven or BBQ, you want to make sure to do so with non-toxic cleaners. Aussan Natural can help you out with their Oven and BBQ Grill Cleaner and Fruit and Vegetable Wash. Lastly, if you have any recyclable waste after preparing your meal, you will want somewhere convenient to place it so that you don’t end up putting it in the trash instead. Rubbermaid Hidden Recycler makes sure that you have a convenient place to put your recyclables.
Throughout the event I will be posting sponsored spotlights featuring the companies and products that you have the chance to win. You will also be able to gain extra entries by commenting on these posts as they go up!
Each of the other participating blogs also has a prize package worth at least $20 that will help you live a more eco-friendly lifestyle. After you enter my green giveaway, be sure to visit all of the other amazing blogs listed below the Rafflecopter form. Thank you and good luck!

I hope to plant the little tree in the ground that we got last year on earth day and planted in a pot. Then I want to get another tree!
I am a recycling fanatic! I am very careful about the prducts/packaging that I purchase. Our total garbage bags for last year was only 9 and I’m working on lowering that this year!
I plan go to the Great Cloth Diaper Change in honor of Earth Day. Using cloth makes it so I don’t have to dispose of thousands of diapers throughout my children’s diapering days.

I am going to an Earth Day Dinner with Farmers Market friends. I am very active in my community, helping to “green” it a bit more. I am on the Board of Directors of “Sustainable Westford”, I run a TerraCycle program for all 9 of our schools called Upcycle It!, and I volunteer on our town’s recycling commission. Oh, plus I blog and have a bi-weekly environmental column to help people figure what to do locally.

Although we are a family of 7 (5 kids) we only have one vehicle. If i need to go somewhere I normally walk or take the bus (unless my husband drives me on the weekends). We recycle, we reuse, we buy a lot of the kids clothing second hand. One day I would love to have a vegetable garden, when we live somewhere that i am allowed to do that.

I compost, plant my own veggie garden and recycle.
I try to think about how my actions affect the Earth with every purchase I make. Buying less packaging, buying local, and buying earth-friendly products are always on my mind when shopping.
i plan to use no paper or plastic!
I honor the earth by having a natural lawn – we let dandelions and other (non-spiky) weeds grow as food for the bees in the spring, and we never dump or spray chemicals on it. I also grow a garden.
I usually spend Earth day picking up garbage in my community
I will be looking for items in the house that can be recycled or repurposed and tending to the vegetable garden
I’ll be cleaning litter up from the campground and surrounding area. Thanks.

we try & keep our over an acre hilly yard as natural as possible. so we replant trees & plants that have reseeded themselves, over half the yard is wooded. we keep the top of the hill grasses long for wild life cover & bedding & when big trees fall or need to come down & leave a large space I plant wildflowers & try to keep them native. Thanks for hosting!
