Alissa Tarita-Havenaar is the owner of The WOOly Owl,a great Etsy shop that  reclaims naturalwool fibers and sews exclusively with lovely certified organic cotton knits,providing upcycled wOOl alternatives for cOnscientiOus families!

It is Alissa’s personal mission to start an organic and live-from-the-earthrevolution and to offer others a greener and more re-usable and biodegradablechoice to diapering their children.  Fromthat mission The wOOly Owl 

was born.  Keeping it as local aspossible, The wOOly Owl reclaims and up-cycles 100% wool materials and usesonly organic cottons, flax seeds and biodegradable materials in all cases(minus metal zippers which take a bit to break down and plastic vintagebuttons:)

In her little sewing closet (yes it is a bedroom closet) Alissa creates herwOOly Creations with so much love and care that truly shows through in eachitem. Alissa is a one-woman-show aspiring to do her part in her community andinspire others to do the same!
