I love this time of year. The leaves are changing, weather is cooler, football has started, and Halloween is just around the corner. This is Monkey Girl’s second Halloween and I have to say, I will never buy a Halloween Costume at a store again. Last year we had such a hard time finding the perfect costume for her. We went to half a dozen different stores and ended up settling on one that was cute but was too big and was far from “perfect.”
In this digital age, I don’t know why I didn’t realize that you can buy costumes on the Internet! Wholesale Costume Club has a HUGE collection of great costumes for everyone in your family. Hubs and I spent hours looking through the infant Halloween costumes trying to find the perfect one for Monkey Girl.
In the end we decided on the Pink Lamb Costume. Monkey Girl is very into farm animals right now and she is so cute when she says “baaaaa” and shakes her head like the sheep she saw at the stock show.
Taking a posed picture of a 15 month old is not the easiest thing to do!
We got the 12-18 month size and it fits pretty good. Monkey Girl is on the small size for her age (19lbs and 30 inches) so if you have a larger child it might not fit. The feet have grippers on the bottom but they kind of flopped around on Monkey Girl’s feet. That being said, she had no problems what so ever walking in it.
I can’t wait to show her off at her Great-Grandma’s nursing home Halloween party. Great-Grandma is going to be Little Bo Peep!
